Teapot
Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, globular body tapering inwards towards the base, short curving spout with raised perforated mouldings to the upperside and raised foliate-moulding and scrolls to the underside, scrolled square-shouldered handle with a raised thumb-spur and foliate-moulding to the shoulder; finely painting in polychrome enamels with around the exterior sides of the teapot scattered sprays and sprigs of naturalistic flowers, the spout and handle picked out in puce.
