Dish, hybrid-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving waved sides; decorated in underglaze blue, red and pink enamels and gilt with a Chinese-style design, to the well two birds perched on rocks amidst spreading plants, around the sides of the well four panels painted with flowering plants interspersed with panels of lattice work, a chocolate-brown line around the rim.
