Sugar bowl with cover
Sugar bowl, earthenware, standing on a rounded spreading waisted foot-rim, the sides flaring out to the shoulder then flaring steeply inwards to a slightly raised lip-rim, several narrow raised ridges around the lower body and shoulder, to either side of the body twin horizontal loop handles, domed cover with flat top and nipple-topped disc-shaped finial; covered all over with a bright gold-tinged copper lustre. The rim of the cover slightly chipped.
