Pail with stand and cover
Pail with cover and stand, soft-paste porcelain, the stand is square with a circular rim and is moulded with acanthus leaves resting on four semi-circular feet, the pail is circular with straight sides and with an adjutting rim in the shape of moulded acanthus leaves, on either side of the pail are two side handles composed of four scrolling loops terminating in moulded acanthus leaves, the cover has high sides and a sloping top on which is mounted a circular lid with a bear-shaped finial; painted with two large bouquets of garden flowers and richly gilded, the finial is gilded.
