Model of Gorsedd
Plywood and textile replica model of Gorsedd Banner (Baner yr Orsedd) and stand; the banner is made of dark blue velvet with two circular silk pieces glued and sewn to surface; the top white circular piece has a red dragon painted on top and the green piece has the word 'Heddwch' (meaning Peace) painted in gold; also in gold is painted the mnotto of the Gorsedd as seen on the banner 'Yn ngwyneb haul, Llygad goleuni, y Gwir yn erbyn y byd'. The banner stand has been shaped and cut of plywood and painted in gold.
Part of a model of the 1914 Gorsedd of the Bards. Made by the Vale of Clwyd Toy Factory in Trefnant. The company provided employment for wounded soldiers during and after the First World War. As a result of the outbreak of war, the Bangor National Eisteddfod of 1914 was postponed until 1915.
