Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Plate, earthenware, circular shape with inset base, curving sides and spreading rim, eight notches and lobes to the rim, the rim embossed with moulded anthemions interspersed with moulded acanthus leaves, gadrooned edge to the outer rim; loosely painted in pink, blue, green and black with to the well a wreath of stylized vine leaves and grapes, pink bands to the centre of the well, the edge of the well and the rim, the moulded anthemions overpainted in pink, blue and green.
