Plate, of tin-glazed earthenware, standing on a flat base, gently rounded, spreading sides with slight cushion-moulded effect, giving a shallow central well and sloping rim; covered with a creamy-white tin-glaze, much pitted on the underside and decorated in underglaze blue with, in the centre, a stylised open flower head, surrounded by leaves with a smaller flower bud to the side all within a circular band of dark-blue lozenges; a band of dark-blue dashes to the outer rim.
