Neolithic flint blade
A long flint blade of grey unpatinated flint with a white chalk cortex running along the length of the blade forming a natural backing to it. The opposite length has some traces of cortex on it as well as some irregular chipping indicative of the blade having been used.

Notes: The item was found near the summit of the mountain, which is three miles south west of Penmachno. The coordinates stated are for the top of the mountain.
