Scent flask
Scent flask, blue lead glass, flat oval shaped form, the whole of exterior surface cut into diamond-shaped facets, to one end a short cylindrical neck in the mouth of which fits a glass stopper with faceted finial which is now firmly wedged into place, over this fits a cylindrical domed screw-on gilt-metal cover; decorated in gilt with to either side of the body a classical urn enclosed by a wreath of ribbon-tied flowers, the finial on the stopper picked out in gilt, the gilt decoration now slightly worn.
