Roman bone pendant
Fragment of a boars tusk, towards root end, with a neatly drilled hole for attachment. Boar's tusks were frequently formed into crescentic pendants (of amuletic significance) by uniting a matching pair, root-ends together, and securing with a metal sheathing pinned through.
