Solon, Louis Marc Emanuel (1835-1913)
Plate, creamy body, very shallow foot rim, centre with a dark green oval medallion, decorated in white pate sur pate with a standing putto, lightly draped and wearing a Phrygian cap, leaning to right over a table, and about to place a cover over the middle of three hearts, within a beaded frame and a wreath of scrolls and foliage, all in relief gilding; ground strewn with gilt stars, rim bearing a foliage trail between line borders.
