Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Centre dish, boat shaped, irregular lobed rim, extended shell moulded handles and narrow foot rim; the centre painted with a dense arrangement of flowers and fruit including, three pink roses, convulvulus, speedwell, cornflowers, three white roses, white currants, grapes, two peaches and a pineapple; apple-green ground rim with a plain outer border and a waved inner border reserved with four polychrome bands of flowers, within foliate cartouches flanked by floral sprays in raised gilding, the exterior of the rim similarly decorated and the handles gilded.
