Rag rug sampler (hooked/looped) made from various cotton plain and patterned fabrics in pinks and neutral colours to form a ‘zig-zag’ pattern, on hessian backing. Image of sampler rug in AM notebook with following notes: ‘1983 Made for the ‘Art Behind the Craft’ demonstration in Bromley 1st October 1983. Worked from the back with Dryad rug prodder using all cotton rag (dress weight) in shades of cream/beige/pink’.
