Jug
Jug, grey-coloured salt-glazed stoneware, flat base, globular body, cylindrical neck with horizontal ribbing, plain loop handle, to the front of the exterior body an embossed medallion with the initials "G R", the medallion surrounded by incised radiating petals, to either side of the body an incised design of a flower head surrounded by scrolling foliage; the incised designs and raised initials in-filled with cobalt-blue, a manganese purple wash around the neck. The lower body broken and repaired.
