Swatch of tweed
Swatches of suiting fabrics bound inside a rectangular shaped book covered in tan and blue imitation leather (coated fabric). The front cover is inscribed with a gold printed text, which reads 'SELECTED SUITINGS 1969 SYDMOR TAILORED CLOTHES'. The binding bears the same company name stamp and the text 'RANGES B-E'. The left sides of the swatches appear to have been embedded in adhesive. On the end of the binding is a hanging loop made from blue twisted rope.
The first swatch has a woven label of the type one would expect to find on the fininshed product. Each fabric has a rectangular shaped cream paper label adhered to the centre of the reverse side, the first one reads 'B4125'. The following swatches has consecutive numbers till E4445. Som swatches also have an oval label stating that they contain Terylene. There is also information about the measurements and prices on the inside of the back cover.
The swatches consist of varsious patterns in greys, greens and blues with pinked edges on three sides.
