Built 1953 by Harland & Wolff Ltd., Belfast (with 6-cylinder B&W oil engine built by Harland & Wolff), for King Line (Philipps, Philipps & Co). 1959 – Transferred to Clan Line Steamers Ltd., but reverted to King Line in 1963. 1972 – Sold to Kition Compania Naviera S.A., Cyprus, and renamed TOULLA. 1979 – Renamed DESPO (same owner). 1980 – Sold to Basco Enterprises Pte Ltd., Singapore, and renamed PEARL RAINBOW. 1981 – Sold to Greenleaf Navigation, and renamed GREENLEAF. She was broken up by Emzed Enterprises at Chittagong in 1983. (7seasvesselscom)
