Cup and saucer
Cup, hard-paste porcelain, barrel-shaped body with small scroll hanlde; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the front of the body a woodland landscape with two birds, to the rear of the body around the handle a foliate wreath in gilt, around the upper body a formal border in gilt of ovals and dots, a gilt band around the lower body, the handle picked out in gilt. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, short cylindrical foot-rim and curving sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the well a woodland scene with four birds, around the sides of the well a foliate wreath in gilt, around the rim a formal border in gilt of ovals and dots.
