Cup, coffee
Coffee cup, soaprock porcelain, short foot-rim, high curving sides and ridged loop handle; transfer-printed in underglaze blue with around the exterior sides a variant of the 'Birds in a Tree' pattern, to one side of the cup two birds are perched in the spreading branches of a tree, to the other side of the cup is a secondary print with two birds in flight over a small landscape.
