Roman samian bowl, decorated
Three pieces, probably all from the same bowl. The largest piece includes part of a double medallion, a beaded border ending in an eight-point rosette (S. & S., fig. 44.4), a fragmentary stylized leaf motif with the 'arrow' design S. & S., fig.44.10 below and a leaf, S. & S., fig. 44.26. All occur in the repertoire of Doeccus. The other sherds contain the rosette and the rosette, bead row, medallion and 'arrow'.
