Medieval lead weight
Lead weight of hexagonal form, with incuse double 'V' for 'W' on one face. There is a central slot on the upper face at least 6mm deep, flanked by smaller holes, which may have been for a suspension hoop (no longer present). The weight has a similar width to thickness ratio as disc shaped weights of a medieval date. These weights are known in a variety of forms and shapes.
