Money balance case
Money balance case of japanned iron, oval in shape, hinged cover, the base lined with loosely woven hessian with green wool, attached to base is a wooden stand with two holes into which two brass weights are slotted, the top of which is covered with pink paper, the scales have a horizontal steel balance with two brass dishes attached by green cords, attached to the top of the balance is a silk tassle; the case is covered with black japan.
