Censer
Censer, or pierced bowl, of buff earthenware, standing on a hollow, cylindrical foot, bowl shaped body with rounded, steeply rounded sides, rising from a narrow base above the foot; perforated below the upper rim with a wide band of interfaced pierced triangles; the foot and body closely ribbed, the upper rim with diagonal reeding; the whole covered with a degraded, iridescent green glaze, with dark blue patches of iridescense to some parts, silvery-gold to others; the whole, very heavily patched and restored.
