Seal impression: Queens Consort
Obverse. Queen Eleanor of Castile, crowned and standing upon an embattled corbel under a trefoiled canopy, wearing a long pleated dress gathered at the waist, and an open cloak; her right hand holds (behind her elbow) a slender sceptre flory, her left hand clasps to her breast a diminutive orb (or book). In the field: dexter and sinister, counter-changed, the arms of CASTILE (a castle) and LEÓN (a lion rampant). In base, under a rounded arch, a lion passant guardant of ENGLAND.
