Neolithic pottery vessel
Sherds in a hard, well-fired fabric, reaching up to 23mm thick, and with light brown surfaces and a black core. Inclusions up to 4mm across are abundant. The thickness of the sherds suggest that they come from the lower portion of a conical vessel, probably Fengate Ware. The sherds are decorated with sparse vertical fingernail impressions.
