Posset-pot
Posset-pot, buff coloured earthenware, standing on a flattened-off foot-rim, globular body sloping inwards at the shoulder, flaring neck, twin handles to either side of the body moulded in the form of scrolling spirals, to the front of the body a narrow curving spout set flush against the sides of the body rising from the base to the neck; covered all over with a whitish tin glaze, a slightly pink tinge to the glaze, extensive plaster restoration to the neck.
