Inkstand, comprising a rectangular plinth with a small cylindrical inkpot and conical cover with bead finial to front left with a pen hole to right, modelled with a draped tree stump on which is seated a biscuit putto holding a gilt pipe to his lips, a recumbent biscuit lamb to right. The sides of the plinth are painted with a band of flowers in the `de Junic' manner, between gilt line borders, and its top with numerous small pink roses; these are continued on a stippled gilt ground over the ink pot and its cover.
