Hat
One of five hats, identical in style, worn by Gertrude Morgan (nee Davies) as a midwife at Morriston Hospital, about 1965.
The hats are made from fine white cotton with a subtle checked pattern in the weave. Made from two pieces, each hat has a front section trimmed with lace and a back section which is curved to fit and has button holes in each corner for fastening. The edges are turned and machine sewn.
