Pot, chocolate and cover
Chocolate pot, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a rounded slightly spreading ridged foot-rim, pear-shaped body, to one side of the body a short handle modelled in the form of an animal head from the open mouth of which emerges a longer turned red wood handle which is attached to the animal head with ivory rivets, domed cover with to the centre a circular aperture; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the exterior body and the cover scattered sprays and sprigs of naturalistic flowers including tulips and roses, gilt edges to the lip-rim, the rim of the cover and around the aperture on the cover, the animal head on the handle picked out in gilt. Tha animal head on the handle cracked and repaired.
