S.S. KERMA, glass negative
¾ Port bow view of S.S. KERMA at Queen Alexandra Dock, Cardiff, c.1947.
S.S. KERMA (4333gt). Built 1928 by D & W Henderson Ltd, Glasgow, as KERMA for Cory & Strick (Steamers) Ltd. In 1943, ownership went to La Tunisienne S.N. Co. (another of Frank Strick's companies). 1951 - Sold to Nya Angfartygs Heimdal, Sweden (managed by R.Hellberg), and renamed HEIMDAL. 4 March 1957 - Wrecked at Stangskar Point, Landsort in fog, and broke in two. Both parts sank on the 19th.
