Cup, earthenware, standing on a rounded spreading slightly waisted foot-rim, the lower body concave, the upper body with flaring sides, ogee handle; transfer-printed in black with to the exterior sides of the body two different rustic scenes, one showing two figures with a horse and dogs against a rural background with buildings, including a windmill, and trees, the other showing two figures seated by a tree, one with a basket, with a cottage and trees in the background, a black band around the interior sides of the body and a black band to the interior lip-rim, a black dash to the handle, a brownish tinge to the glaze.
