Cup and saucer
Cup, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded curving sides, plain loop handle; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the exteiror body of the cup a landscape with figures, a river, a haystack and other buildings, the landscape enclosed by a rococo border in blue and gilt, to the rest of the exterior sides of the cup two sprigs of naturalistic flowers, a further sprig of naturalistic flowers to the interior bottom of the bowl, a rather worn gilt edge to the lip-rim, the handle picked out in gilt. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short tapering cylindrical foot-rim, curving sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a landscape with seated figures and a cart by the side of a river, the landscape enclosed by a rococo border in blue and gilt, scattered sprigs of flowers and leaves around the sides of the well, a rather worn gilt edge to the rim. The foot-rim chipped.
