Computer monitor
Monitor for Amstrad personal computer word processor PCW 8512, produced from 1985. The monitor casing includes the processor, memory, motherboard, floppy disk drive, the power supply for all the units and the connectors for the printer and keyboard.The monochrome monitor diplsayed green characters on a background that appeared black when the system was active. Purchased in 1988 from Boots the Chemist for £250. The PC was sold together with the keyboard and printer. It was used by employee of the Evangelical Movement of Wales in offices at Bryntirion House, Bridgend. When the office upgraded its PCs in the late 1990s, the Amstrad was used at home by the donor and her daughter in Aberkenfig.
