mv KING JAMES (5066gt) : built 1924 by D. & W. Henderson & Co. Ltd., Glasgow. Ordered by Petersen & Co. London to be named RIVER ST. LAWRENCE but sold on the stocks to British Motorship Co. Ltd and completed as KING JAMES. In 1935, she was transferred to Scottish Steam Ship Co. Laid up in 1949, and sold in 1950 to Constantin Atychides, Liberia and renamed SOPHYCLYVE but sank and was abandoned on 8th August 1960 sank after springing a leak.
