Plate, porcelain, circular, gadroon edge, footring; the edge is gilded, the rim is decorated with a waved blue double line border in which is painted puce and gold circles and painted with a dotted sprig pattern in green and gold, the central reserve is banded by a gilt line border and a border of gold leaves and dots, the centre is painted with a crest in the shape of a circular band and buckle that is inscribed with the words "Virtute Et Opera" and painted in the centre with a hand holding a shell.
