Plate, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, with a blue-green translucency; standing on a flared foot rim, cushion moulded and curved spreading sides; lobed lip and cruciform moulding; painted in the centre with a landscape view of a winding river, trees, and a tower in the middle distance; deep pink border banded by gilt bands and reserved with four octagonal cartouches of flower bouquets; wide gilt border to cavetto of arches alternating with a line and circle.
