Dish, dessert
Dessert dish, hard-paste porcelain, square shape with rounded corners, straight-sided foot-rim and curving sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a circular panel containing a mountainous landscape with scattered buildings, the panel enclosed by a gilt border, around the sides of the well an elaborate border consisting of a gilt foliate band, a heavy plain gilt band, and above garlands of polychrome flowers between blue rosettes, to the centre of each sides an oval panel on a yellow ground containing a view of buildings in grey monochrome on a red-brown ground, a gilt edge to the rim.
