Roman stone tombstone
The tombstone was originally surmounted by a moulded triangular pediment, ornamented with roundels in the lower corners at least and probably other decorative elements. A wide border running between simple mouldings flanks the die. Across it ran two oblique strokes, perhaps the upper part of an ansa.
