Saucer, earthenware, circular shape with rounded foot-rim and spreading curving sides; transfer-printed in black with to the centre of the well a rural scene showing in the foreground a kneeling female figure picking flowers watched over by a standing male figure, in the background a cottage surrounded by a fence and trees, black bands half-way up the sides of the saucer and to the outer rim.
