Two-handled cup, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a circular high foot rim, slightly flared, octagonal shaped body and lip, two c-scroll handles terminating in small scrolls, decorated with two groups of chinoiserie figures, one with two figures, a man smoking a pipe, the other seated, the other of two figures around a table, opposite each other, one holding up a flag, both standing on platforms with gilt, purple lustre, purple and iron-red scroll brackets, gilt band to handles, bottom with polychrome spray of Indian
flowers, leaves and fruit, ornamental gilt band to inner lip.
