Jug
Jug, pearlware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body with a raised ring around the lower body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, scrolled handle with raised thumb-spur; the exterior of the jug apart from the lower body covered with silver lustre, this then decorated using silver lustre resist techniques with around the body a wreath of flowers and foliage, around the neck a design of stylized leaves and a geometric border of overlapping oval-shapes, a rather worn foliate design and a white stripe to the handle. The neck cracked.
