Medieval pottery pitcher
Slender, green-glazed baluster jug with roulette decoration, thumbed base, pierced strap handle and a pulled spout. The rouletted decoration takes the form of a series of short horizonal 'S' scrolls set in concurrent horzontal bands across the bulbous middle section. Partially restored.
Monnow Valley Ware jug with rouletted decoration, 1300s. Found at Skenfrith Castle, south-east Wales.
