Wedding dress bodice
Grey silk wedding dress bodice, trimmed with pale lilac cloth. Worn in 1884 by Mary Ellen Jones of Bangor at her wedding to Henry Davies, Post Office, Upper Bangor at the English Wesleyan Church, Litherland, Liverpool. Bodice closes to neck with eleven hooks, having dummy buttons (one missing) on front. Tight sleeves, pleated and tucked at cuffs.
