Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a tapered foot rim curving into cushion moulded and slightly curved spreading sides; lobed lip with six large and six small lobes; rim moulded with c-scrolls and ribbon-tied flowers and foliage; painted with three sprays of pink full bloom roses and green leaves, and a single pink wild rose in the centre, and five insects; gilt scalloped lip.
