Tattoo flash
Knight, Jessie (Jessie Knight was the first prominent female tattooist in the UK. She took over her father's tattoo shop in Barry aged 18 in 1927 and went on to prominence whilst working in Chatham, Portsmouth and Aldershot. She returned to Barry in 1968, and continued to work there as a tattoo artist into the 1980s.)
Nine images of flash on card. At the centre, there are three military flags with the text, ‘Each for all, all for each’. Flash also includes images of soldiers, a female with thistle, ships with the text, ‘Hands Across the Sea’ and ‘The Sailors Grave’.
There are also 2 faces with daggers. ‘20’ is written at the bottom left.
A pencil drawing of a heart with the text, ‘Love Jean’ is on the reverse.
