Meat platter, earthenware, round-ended oblong shape with flat base, curving sides and spreading rim; transfer-printed in blue with to the centre of the well the 'Verandah' pattern, a design of an oriental fence on a patch of ground with an urnupon it and surrounded by sprays of spreading oriental flowers and foliage, in the background right a small European landscape vignette showing buildings by the side of a lake with mountains in the background, border to the rim of an oriental fence pattern issuing spays of flowers and foliage which spread down the sides of the well.
