Roman samian bowl, decorated
Ovolo with corded stem of the tongue and rosette terminal. A bead-row above and below the ovolo. Panel decoration demarcated by fine bead-rows with corner rosettes. Sphinx seated to R. similar to Dech. 496. Good glaze ; excellent workmanship.
