WOOLLEN CANVAS, embroidered with coloured silks in cross stitch. At the top, within a rectangular compartment, is the verse
"Tis religion that can give Sweetest pleasures while we live Tis religion must supply Solid comforts when we die".
At the bottom, within an oval compartment, is the inscription "Catharine Moase / Aged 11 years 1840". The remaining space is filled with detached designs, flowering plants in pots, crowns, crosses and strawberries. symmetrically arranged. There is a border of a wavy stem with buds.
