Early Iron Age bronze socketed axe
Small mouth and loop fragment. The mouth moulding is long, the upper mouth moulding pronounced, whilst the lower moulding is feint and parallel with the insertion of the upper loop arm. The axe has a back-to-front mouth and a mouth with curved edges. (could be a South-Eastern Type socketed axe rather than of Sompting Type).
