Embroidered picture
Silk embroidered with coloured silks in satin, long and short and split stitches. Oval shape and filled with honeysuckle, sunflower and other flowers growing from a two-handled vase. On the paper backing is the following written inscription: "Mary Gittins Rayton / Oswestry near Salop/ 1794”.
