Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dish, oval, with a waved and folded rim comprising six small and six large lobes, narrow blackened foot rim; the centre painted with an arrangement of flowers and fruit including two pink roses, a pink, a blue anenome, two peaches, an apple, grapes, white currants, and a plum; apple-green ground rim, plain gilt outer border, waved gilt inner border, reserved with four polychrome sprays of flowers in foliate cartouches between floral sprays in raised gilding. Firing crack across centre. On receipt a section of rim broken in two pieces and rivetted.
